Palette Memory stores your projects, colors, recipes, Color Sketches, and Live Palettes locally on your device, inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to or stored on our servers, and the app is not a social network — we never see or publish your data.
Because everything is stored only in your browser, it is not backed up anywhere else. Your data may be permanently lost if you: clear your browser's cache, cookies, or site data; use the app in private/incognito mode (nothing is saved after you close the tab); uninstall or reset the browser app; switch to a different browser or a different device (each browser and device has its own separate storage — nothing syncs between them); reset or replace your phone or computer; or run out of available storage space on your device. We strongly recommend regularly saving or exporting anything important (for example, screenshots of recipes you want to keep) as a backup. We are not able to recover lost data, since we never had a copy of it.
Photos of paintings and paint mixes are used only to display content within the app and to build Find Mix recipes.
The artistic explanation of a recipe and Refine may use an external AI service. Only the information needed to generate a response (the color, the recipe, the Refine request) is sent, with no personal data.
Purchase information is processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe, and/or Google Play Billing for users who subscribe through the Google Play app). We do not receive or store your card details — payment processing is handled entirely by the payment provider. Only the minimum information needed to confirm and manage your subscription is shared with them.
